Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients (Serves 6)

  • 1 lb dry fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp ground white pepper
  • ½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ lb scallops
  • ½ cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta: Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Make the sauce: In a large skillet, heat cream over medium heat until just boiling. Reduce heat.
  • Add aromatics: Stir in green onions, parsley, basil, thyme, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and white pepper. Simmer for 7–8 minutes until thickened.
  • Add seafood: Stir in shrimp and scallops. Cook until shrimp turns opaque and scallops are firm.
  • Finish with cheese: Stir in Swiss and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth.
  • Serve: Toss pasta with sauce or spoon sauce over plated pasta. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.

Notes

This Cajun Seafood Pasta is creamy, spicy, and packed with bold flavors—perfect for seafood lovers! You can adjust the heat level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning. Pair it with garlic bread or a fresh green salad for a complete meal. For variety, try swapping the seafood with chicken or sausage for a different twist
