Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt

- ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup (240ml) buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp lemon juice)

- 1½ cups (225g) fresh blueberries (or frozen, unthawed)
Instructions
- Prep:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with liners or grease generously .
- Mix Dry Ingredients:
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using) in a large bowl .
- Combine Wet Ingredients:
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Assemble Batter:
- Pour wet ingredients into dry mix. Fold gently until just combined—do not overmix.
- Toss blueberries with 1 tbsp flour (to prevent sinking), then fold into batter
- Bake:
- Divide batter evenly into muffin cups (fill nearly to the top for domed tops).
- Generously sprinkle streusel over each.
- Bake at 425°F for 5 minutes, then reduce to 350°F (175°C) and bake 15–18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean .
- Cool & Serve:
- Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Serve warm!
