- Ground cinnamon – 1 tsp
- Fresh blueberries – ½ cup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a mixer, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Finish batter:
- Add ⅓ of the flour mix, then half the milk.
- Repeat with remaining flour and milk, ending with flour.
- Toss ¾ cup blueberries with 1 tsp flour and gently fold into batter.
- Transfer to pan: Spread batter evenly in the prepared dish.
- Add topping:
- Scatter remaining blueberries over the top.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar, then sprinkle evenly over the cake.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 20 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
