Ingredients
For the Pancakes:
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 3/4 cup (180ml) milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6–8 crushed Oreo cookies (or any chocolate sandwich cookies)
For the Cream Topping:
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Extra crushed Oreos for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Pancake Batter:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; the batter should be slightly lumpy.
- Gently fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
- Cook the Pancakes:
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set (about 2-3 minutes).
- Flip the pancake and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Make the Cream Topping:
- In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Assemble the Pancakes:
- Stack the pancakes on a plate. Add a dollop of whipped cream on top of the stack.
