Ingredients
Salmon
2 salmon fillets (skin removed, cut into cubes)
1½ tbsp cornstarch
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
2 tbsp oil (for cooking)
Hot Honey Sauce
3 tbsp honey
1–2 tsp chili flakes (adjust heat)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sriracha or any hot sauce
1 tsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
1 minced garlic clove
Bowl Base & Toppings
2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, or jasmine)
1 avocado (sliced)
1 cup cucumber (sliced or diced)
1 carrot (shredded)
Edamame or steamed broccoli (optional)
Sesame seeds & green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
Mix warm rice with vinegar, sugar, and salt. Spread evenly into a lightly oiled baking dish and press down firmly.
Sprinkle a generous layer over the rice for classic sushi flavor.
In a bowl, combine seafood, cream cheese, mayo, sriracha, soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions until creamy.
Spread the seafood mixture evenly over the rice.
Bake at 200 °C (400 °F) for 15–20 minutes until hot and lightly golden on top.
Broil 2–3 minutes or drizzle oil and bake a few extra minutes for a crispier surface.
Top with spicy mayo drizzle, avocado, sesame seeds, and more green onions.
Serve warm with nori sheets for scooping.
