Easy Banana Cheesecake Cones Recipe

Description

A Banana Cheesecake Cone is essentially the handheld lovechild of a classic cheesecake and an ice cream cone. Instead of the usual graham cracker pie crust, the cheesecake filling is piped or spooned directly into a waffle cone. The filling retains all the luscious, creamy texture you expect from a traditional cheesecake, but with added fresh banana slices for natural sweetness and texture contrast. Topped with crushed graham crackers and optional garnishes—think mini chocolate chips or caramel drizzle—this playful dessert offers multiple textures in every bite: crisp cone, smooth cheesecake, soft banana, and crunchy topping.

Ingredients

  • Waffle cones (6-8, or as needed)
  • Cream cheese – 225g (8 oz), softened
  • Powdered sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
  • Heavy cream – 1/2 cup (or whipped topping)
  • Bananas – 2, ripe, sliced
  • Graham crackers – 2, crushed (for topping)
  • Optional: Mini chocolate chips, caramel sauce, or chopped nuts

Instructions

1. Make the Cheesecake Filling

  1. In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and fluffy.

2. Prepare the Cones

  1. Place a few banana slices at the bottom of each waffle cone.
  2. Fill a piping bag (or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off) with the cheesecake filling.
  3. Pipe a generous amount of cheesecake filling into each cone, alternating with banana slices if desired.

3. Top and Serve

  1. Sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top.
  2. Add extra banana slices, mini chocolate chips, or a drizzle of caramel sauce for more flavor.
  3. Serve immediately for crunchier cones, or chill for 30 minutes if you prefer a softer texture.

Notes

For an extra touch of indulgence, try drizzling melted chocolate or caramel sauce over the top before serving. You can also sprinkle crushed nuts, mini chocolate chips, or crushed graham crackers for added texture and flavor. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve for the best creamy consistency!
