Description

Dark Chocolate Almond Clusters are simple yet indulgent treats made by combining whole almonds with dark chocolate. The almonds are coated in smooth, melted dark chocolate and formed into bite-sized clusters, making them a perfect snack for any occasion. You can enjoy these clusters as a quick energy-boosting snack or wrap them up as a thoughtful homemade gift.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (200g) brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (130g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (45g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Add Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Mix until well combined.
  3. Incorporate Cream: Slowly add the heavy cream and vanilla extract, mixing until the dip is smooth and creamy.
  4. Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  5. Chill (Optional): For a thicker consistency, refrigerate the dip for about 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve: Serve the brownie batter dip with graham crackers, pretzels, fruit, or your favorite dippers.

Notes

Once the clusters have set, store them in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge for a longer shelf life. You can also sprinkle sea salt or crushed dried berries on top before the chocolate sets for an extra flavor boost!
