Description

No-Bake Oreo Truffle Balls Dipped in Chocolate are bite-sized treats made by mixing crushed Oreo cookies with softened cream cheese to form a smooth, dough-like filling. This mixture is then rolled into small balls, dipped in melted chocolate, and chilled to perfection. The result is a rich, creamy, and deliciously sweet snack that’s perfect for any occasion. The beauty of this recipe lies in its simplicity—just a handful of ingredients and a few simple steps. You can even customize it with toppings like crushed Oreos, sprinkles, or a drizzle of white chocolate for added flair!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14–16 oz / ~36 cookies) Oreo cookies (regular, not Double Stuf)

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened

  • 12 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate (chips or bars, chopped)

  • Optional for decoration:

    • White chocolate drizzle

    • Crushed Oreos, sprinkles, or sea salt flakes

Instructions

1. Crush the Oreos

Place Oreos (cookies and filling) in a food processor.
Pulse until finely crushed — it should look like coarse sand.
(No food processor? Place in a zip bag and crush with a rolling pin!)

2. Mix with Cream Cheese

In a bowl, combine crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese.
Mix until fully blended and smooth — the mixture should hold together when pressed.

3. Shape into Balls

Roll about 1 tablespoon of mixture into small balls.
Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Refrigerate or freeze for 15–30 minutes until firm.

4. Melt the Chocolate

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
(You can also melt it over a double boiler if preferred.)

5. Dip the Truffles

Using a fork or dipping tool, coat each truffle in melted chocolate.
Let excess chocolate drip off before placing them back on the parchment paper.

6. Decorate (Optional)

Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle with crushed Oreos, sea salt, or drizzle with melted white chocolate for a fancy touch.

7. Chill

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate coating to harden.

Notes

These irresistible No-Bake Oreo Truffle Balls are a crowd favorite for any occasion! With a creamy Oreo center coated in rich chocolate, they’re simple to make yet look impressively elegant. Add a drizzle of white chocolate, crushed Oreos, or colorful sprinkles on top for a fun finishing touch.
