Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper for easy removal.


2. Brew the Chai

  • Steep 2 chai tea bags in ½ cup hot water for 5–7 minutes.

  • Let it cool slightly before using (you’ll use ¼ cup for the loaf — save the rest for glaze or sipping ☕️).


3. Make the Batter

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin, eggs, sugars, oil, chai tea, and vanilla until smooth.

  3. Add dry ingredients to wet and stir until just combined (don’t overmix).


4. Bake

  • Pour into the prepared loaf pan.

  • Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  • Cool 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
