Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.


2. Make the Brownie Layer

  1. Melt butter and chocolate chips together in a heatproof bowl (microwave in 20-second intervals or stovetop). Stir smooth.

  2. Whisk in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.

  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.

  4. Fold in flour and salt until just combined. Set aside.
