- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions
Make the Caramel:
- Heat sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until melted and amber-colored (about 5-8 minutes)
- Add butter and whisk until melted and combined
- Slowly pour in cream while whisking continuously (mixture will bubble vigorously)
- Remove from heat and stir in sea salt
- Set aside to cool while preparing brownies
Make the Brownies:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin

- Stir in vanilla extract
- Combine dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, salt) in a separate bowl
- Fold dry ingredients into chocolate mixture until just combined
Assemble and Bake:
- Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full with brownie batter
- Add caramel – spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of cooled caramel into each cup
- Swirl gently with a toothpick to create marbled effect
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are set but centers are still slightly soft
- Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack
- Sprinkle with sea salt while still warm
Notes
These brownie bites taste even better the next day! Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for a fudgier texture. For an indulgent twist, serve them slightly warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of extra caramel sauce.
