  • Author: David Andersson

Description

Triple-Chocolate Brownie Cups are individual servings of rich, chocolatey brownies baked inside a muffin tin, with the added luxury of three types of chocolate chips: semi-sweet, milk, and white. Topped with a smooth and glossy chocolate ganache, these brownies offer the perfect combination of textures—crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and bursting with chocolatey goodness.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Brownie Batter:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips

For the Ganache Topping:

  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Brownie Cups:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with cupcake liners.
  2. Melt the Butter: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the semi-sweet, white, and milk chocolate chips.
  5. Fill Muffin Tin: Spoon the brownie batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about ¾ full.
  6. Bake: Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool in the tin for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

2. Make the Ganache Topping:

  1. Heat the Cream: In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  2. Add Chocolate Chips: Remove from heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Let sit for a minute, then stir until smooth and glossy.

3. Assemble:

  1. Top the Brownies: Once the brownie cups are completely cooled, drizzle or spoon the ganache over the top of each brownie cup.
  2. Set the Ganache: Allow the ganache to set for about 30 minutes at room temperature.

4. Serve:

  • Serve the brownie cups as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for an extra treat!

Notes

These rich and gooey brownie cups are best enjoyed warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of melted chocolate on top. You can also add a sprinkle of sea salt or chopped nuts for extra texture and flavor. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days—or freeze for a fudgy treat anytime!
