Ingredients
- 250g firm tofu
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Optional: breadcrumbs for extra crunch
Instructions
- Prep the tofu
Press the tofu to remove excess water (wrap in a cloth and place a weight on top for 10–15 minutes). - Cut into nuggets
Slice the tofu into bite-sized cubes or nugget shapes. - Season
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oil, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and salt. Toss tofu gently to coat. - Coat for crispiness
Sprinkle cornstarch over the tofu and mix lightly. Add breadcrumbs if you want extra crunch. - Air fry
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F). Place tofu pieces in a single layer and cook for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through. - Serve
Remove when golden and crispy. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce like ketchup, chili sauce, or mayo.
