Description
The concept of the pizza roll was born out of a desire for portable, bite-sized Italian-American flavors. Historically, the idea gained massive popularity in the middle of the twentieth century as frozen convenience foods became a staple of the American household. However, as culinary trends have shifted back toward fresh ingredients and “from-scratch” cooking, the homemade pizza roll has seen a major resurgence.
