Description
A biscoff cookie butter latte is a specialized handcrafted coffee beverage. It infuses the classic flavors of spiced Speculoos cookies directly into a rich espresso drink. Instead of relying solely on artificial flavored syrups, this recipe uses real caramelized cookie spread. The spread is blended straight into warm milk.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 shots (60 ml) espresso or strong brewed coffee
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk
- 2 tablespoons Biscoff cookie butter
- 1–2 teaspoons brown sugar or maple syrup, optional
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Whipped cream, optional
- 1 Biscoff cookie, for topping
- Pinch of cinnamon, optional
Instructions
- Warm the milk: Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until hot but not boiling.
- Add cookie butter: Stir in the Biscoff cookie butter until completely melted and smooth.
- Add flavor: Mix in the vanilla extract and brown sugar or maple syrup, if using.
- Prepare the coffee: Brew 2 shots of espresso and pour them into a large mug.
- Combine: Slowly pour the warm Biscoff milk over the espresso and stir well.
- Top: Add whipped cream if desired. Drizzle with a little melted Biscoff cookie butter and finish with crushed Biscoff cookie crumbs or a whole cookie.
- Serve: Enjoy warm immediately.
Notes
For an iced Biscoff latte, let the coffee and Biscoff milk cool slightly, then pour over a glass filled with ice.
