Instructions

1. Preheat oven

  • Set oven to 180°C (350°F)
  • Line a muffin tin with paper liners

2. Make the cream cheese filling

  • Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth
  • Set aside

3. Prepare muffin batter

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
  • In another bowl, mix melted butter, egg, milk, and vanilla
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients gently
  • Fold in blueberries

4. Assemble muffins

  • Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter
  • Add 1 tsp cream cheese filling in the center
  • Top with remaining batter

5. Bake

  • Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and set

6. Optional topping

  • Brush muffins with melted butter
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle on top
