Instructions

  1. Brown the meat (important)
    In a pan, cook the ground beef/sausage with onion until browned. Add garlic for the last minute.
  2. Add to crockpot
    Transfer to your slow cooker. Add marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  3. Cook
    • Low: 6–7 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
  4. Add noodles
    About 30 minutes before serving, stir in broken lasagna noodles. Cook until tender.
  5. Serve
    Ladle into bowls and top with:
    • A dollop of ricotta
    • Mozzarella
    • Parmesan
