Ingredients

4 cups Rice Krispies cereal

3 tablespoons butter (unsalted)

3 (3 oz) packages Peeps Marshmallow Bunnies or Chicks, in different colors (pink, yellow, blue, etc.)

Sprinkles (pastel or Easter-themed)

White chocolate drizzle for topping

Instructions

Prep your pan:

Lightly grease or line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Layer the Peeps:

Separate Peeps by color.

In the pan, arrange one color layer of Peeps (about 10–12 Peeps) across the bottom.

Add butter:

Cut 1 tablespoon of butter into small chunks and place on top of the Peeps.

Melt & bake:

Place the pan in a 350°F (175°C) oven for about 6–8 minutes, or until the Peeps start to puff up and melt slightly.

Remove from oven and stir gently with a spatula until the marshmallows and butter are combined into a gooey mixture.

Add cereal:

Quickly stir in 1⅓ cups Rice Krispies (per color layer) until evenly coated.

Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the pan.

Repeat steps 2–5 for each color layer (pink, yellow, blue, etc.), pressing each new layer on top of the last.

Cool & decorate:

Let the treats cool completely.

Optional: drizzle with melted white chocolate and add sprinkles on top.

Cut into squares or fun Easter shapes once set.
