Description
At its most basic level, this dish is a warm fruit compote created directly on the grill. By slicing fresh peaches in half and exposing them to direct heat, you are initiating the Maillard reaction. This process breaks down the natural sugars within the fruit, intensifying the sweetness and creating a deep, complex flavor profile that raw fruit simply cannot match.
