Instructions

  • Cook the sweet potatoes
    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    Add diced sweet potatoes, season lightly with salt, and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly tender. Remove and set aside.
  • Cook the turkey
    In the same pan, add remaining oil. Cook ground turkey, breaking it up, until browned (5–7 minutes).
  • Add veggies & flavor
    Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
  • Season it
    Stir in paprika, cumin, chili powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Combine everything
    Add sweet potatoes back to the pan. Pour in a little water/broth, cover, and cook another 5–7 minutes until potatoes are fully tender.
  • Finish & serve
    Taste and adjust seasoning. Add toppings if you like.
