Description
To put it simply, Ice Cream Stuffed Donuts are a hybrid dessert where a traditional yeast-raised donut acts as a vessel for a generous scoop of ice cream. Unlike a standard jelly or custard-filled donut, these are usually sliced or piped with cold ice cream just before serving. The result is a sensory experience that plays with temperatures and textures—the crispy, slightly salty exterior of the fried dough meeting the velvety, sweet, and freezing cold interior.
Ingredients
Scale
For the donuts:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar

3. Fry the donuts

5. Serve
- Dust with powdered sugar or roll in cinnamon sugar.
- Drizzle with chocolate or caramel if you want extra sweetness.
