Ingredients
Bread Base
1 large round sourdough or crusty artisan loaf
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional)
Cheesy Filling
1½ cups shredded mozzarella
1 cup shredded cheddar or monterey jack
4 oz cream cheese, cubed (optional but amazing)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Using a serrated knife, slice the bread in a crisscross pattern, cutting almost to the bottom but not all the way through.
Mix melted butter, garlic, and herbs.
Gently pull open the bread cuts and drizzle the garlic butter throughout.
Stuff cheese (and add-ins) deep into the cracks.
Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning and parmesan over the top.
Wrap loosely in foil and bake 15 minutes.
Uncover and bake another 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Rest 5 minutes, then pull apart and devour.
