Description

A pomegranate mint cooler is a simple handcrafted mocktail. Pure fruit juice merges with aromatic herbs and carbonation. This recipe belongs to the classic family of non-alcoholic sparklers. High-quality pomegranate juice creates the dark foundation for the drink. Mint leaves resting at the bottom of the glass offer a clean finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh pomegranate juice
  • ½ cup chilled sparkling water or soda water
  • 12 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 12 tbsp sugar or honey, to taste
  • 810 fresh mint leaves
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • Pomegranate seeds, for garnish
  • Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
  • Lime slices, for garnish

Instructions

  • Muddle the mint:
Place the mint leaves and sugar or honey in a glass. Gently muddle them to release the mint flavor.
  • Add the juice:
Pour in the pomegranate juice and fresh lime juice. Stir well.
  • Add ice:
Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • Add sparkling water:
Slowly pour in the chilled sparkling water and gently stir.
  • Garnish:
Add pomegranate seeds, a lime slice, and a fresh mint sprig.
  • Serve:
Serve immediately while chilled and fizzy.

Notes

For a sweeter cooler, add more honey or sugar. For a stronger mint flavor, muddle the mint slightly longer.
