Description
To truly appreciate this dish, it helps to understand exactly what you are creating. At its core, this meal consists of a beef brisket that is rubbed with a blend of aromatic spices, bathed in a savory liquid mixture, and cooked over low heat for a long period. Once the meat reaches a state where it practically falls apart at the touch of a fork, it is shredded and tossed back into its own concentrated cooking juices along with plenty of your favorite barbecue sauce.
