Ingredients
For the Deviled Eggs:

6 large eggs

3 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tsp yellow mustard (or Dijon)

For the Olive Spiders:

12 black olives (pitted)

6 olives cut in half for the bodies

6 olives sliced thinly into strips for legs

Instructions

Boil the Eggs

Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water by 1 inch.

Bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, turn off heat, cover, and let sit for 10–12 minutes.

Transfer eggs to ice water for 5 minutes, then peel.

Make the Filling

Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks to a small bowl.

Mash yolks with a fork, then mix in mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar (if using), salt, and pepper until creamy.

Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg whites.

Assemble the Spiders

Place one half olive (body) on top of each filled egg.

Arrange 6 olive “legs” (3 on each side) around the body.
