In another bowl, beat butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. - Add egg & flavor
Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth. - Combine
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until a soft dough forms. Add a little milk if the dough feels too dry. - Chill dough
Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. - Shape & decorate
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Shape into small balls or press into cookie shapes. Add rose petals or pistachios on top if using. - Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. - Cool & enjoy
