Description
At their core, Ube Crinkle Cookies are a colorful variation of the classic chocolate crinkle cookie. However, instead of cocoa powder, the star ingredient here is ube, a purple yam native to Southeast Asia. The flavor of ube is often described as a cross between vanilla and pistachio, with a subtle nuttiness and a hint of white chocolate. It is a complex and earthy sweetness that makes these cookies stand out from your standard sugar or chocolate chip varieties.
