Instructions
1. Prepare the Cookie Dough
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and creamy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
2. Fill the Croissants
- Slice each croissant horizontally, leaving one edge attached if desired.
- Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of cookie dough inside each croissant and spread evenly.
- Close the croissants and spread another layer of cookie dough over the tops.
- Sprinkle with extra chocolate chips if desired.
3. Bake
- Place the filled croissants on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–14 minutes, or until the cookie dough is golden and set around the edges.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
