Instructions

2. Bake the base
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy
3. Make the custard
- Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and baking powder together
4. Combine
- Pour custard evenly over the baked phyllo
- Let it soak for a few minutes
5. Final bake
- Bake again for 25–30 minutes until set and golden
6. Serve
- Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar
- Add honey, nuts, or cinnamon if desired
